WCT Rehab Header

Wildlife rehabilitation involves emergency care, long-term rehabilitation, conditioning for release, and ultimately, release back into the wild.

Wildlife rehabilitation is a humane and rewarding endeavor that benefits both wildlife and people. Caring for individual animals, we gather information that is relevant to the entire species and gives us a better understanding of how these creatures relate to our world in its entirety.

The state-of-the-art Wildlife Center of Texas is located in central Houston. This location is central to Houston and the nine surrounding counties. The Wildlife Center is staffed by experienced state and federally-permitted wildlife rehabilitators, on-site veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and knowledgeable volunteers.

All injured, sick, and orphaned native wild animals are accepted. The Wildlife Center has NEVER turned away an injured, sick, or orphaned native wild animal.

The Wildlife Center of Texas is open 7 days a week and can be reached by phone at 713-861-WILD. Please leave us a message, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
